Chemistry Peer Advisory League (ChemPAL)

Chemistry Peer Advisory League (ChemPAL) was created to foster an inclusive community in the chemistry department with a focus on mentoring between graduate students and undergraduates. Through personalized mentoring groups, undergraduate students receive guidance on academic development, professional skills, and career advising from graduate mentors. To support student development, ChemPAL offers workshops/events related to academic ancillary skills, building networks, applying for internships or post-undergrad endeavors.

Chemistry Peer Advisors

Chemistry Peer advising was established in 2016 with the goal of providing undergraduate Chemistry/Biochemistry students advising services that are peer-sourced and tailored towards students’ need for role models and a network of peers with similar academic interests. As peer advisors, we have experienced the same classes and roadblocks that our fellow peers are currently experiencing. Additionally, we can help new students network and find resources for their classes and interests.
